One day there was this boy. He met this girl. They fell in love. This is where their story begins.
Steven Daniel Brown was born and raised in Idaho falls, Idaho. One day he got interested in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was baptized April 13, 2008. He moved to the little town of Blackfoot, Idaho. He went to church every week and thought his life was great. One day he was at a singles activity and this girl he had never seen before walked in. Who was she? All he knew was that he wanted to date her and see how far their relationship would go. He knew that something great would come from dating her. He asked her on a date a week later and they hit it off. He knew it was the start of something grand. He just didn't know how far it was gonna take them.
Kelsey Jae Brown (Behrend) was born and raised in Blackfoot, Idaho. She had been a member of the church for her whole life. She didn't like going to church for a while until one day she decided to get brave and go. She walked in and saw this handsome man and she knew she wanted to get to know him. He sat by her the whole time and flirted. He called her a few days later and asked her if she would like to go on a date. What would it hurt right? She accepted. She saw something in him she couldn't put her finger on. She decided that she would give it a go and see where it led. She loves every step of the way with him.
January 19, 2009 they went to Idaho falls to see the newest addition to his brothers family. After seeing the beautiful bouncing girl they went to look for rings. She tried on many rings. She wasn't fond of a lot of them. Something caught her eye, she walked over to it and the guy behind the counter took it out. She tried it on and it fit perfectly. It was just like a fairy tale.
He drove home in pure silence. When he got to her house he sat in the car for a few minutes, and said "I love you so much and want to marry you! Will you marry me?" She could hear her heartbeating. She loved this man more then anything. She said yes and he slid the ring onto her finger.
They decided to get married in the Rexburg, Idaho Temple on July 25, 2009. It was the best decision they had ever made. That day they opened a new chapter in their book and can't wait to see where it takes them.
They say the temple is the house of God and they both knew that it was. They are so happy to have made that step in the right direction and can't wait to see what else God has in store for them.
