Merry Christmas from my house to yours

Its almost Christmas time and its been a crazy year! It seems like this year just started and it is already ending! I am having mixed feelings about it. For one-my baby girl turned one and it seemed like yesterday we got her home. For two-its another day closer to being done with school and it feels like I just started.

For all you mothers out there you will appreciate this. My baby is getting the whole "Santa" thing and it cracks me up! One day he is her best friend and the next she wants nothing to do with that man! Next year it'll be completely different because she might just like him the whole time. She makes us laugh so hard. She will get under the tree (if we have guest over) and take one of the presents under there over and give it to them. I just hope that she keeps that spirit of giving her whole life! I hope that in years to come she is still as giving as now. I know she is young but she will share EVERYTHING! She will be drinking out of a cup and turn to me or Steve and have us take a drink because she wants us to know how great it is. She is such a good example. She doesn't know it but I admire that. She might never know that, actually. She doesn't know how to not brighten someones day. She will see someone-anyone- and put on a huge ole smile and laugh and scream till they have a smile themselves. I cannot say how amazed I am that she makes friends by flashing that beautiful smile of hers. She is wonderful! Back to the Santa thing; I hope that when she gets bigger she will not only love him but strive to help him! Here is a picture of her sitting on his lap:
